Employment Opportunities

Are you passionate about cycling? Would you like to live and work near one of the largest and the fastest growing downhill parks in the east? And be able to ride just about every day? If so, we may have a job for you!

We are always looking for experienced mountain bike mechanics and passionate cyclists to work in the shop (who are not necessarily bike mechanics). Even if we are not actively seeking any positions at the moment, don’t let that deter you from submitting an application. We are always looking for experienced and motivated individuals.

If you are interested in working at Alpine Bike Works, please download and complete this Employment Application and return via email to: info@alpinebikeworks.com . If you have a resume, please include that in the email as well. Please DO NOT just drop by the shop or stop in to drop off your application. Please email it to us and we will call you and go from there.

Positions currently available: Retail Bike Shop Help and Bike Mechanic

April 2019: We are currently seeking two new members for our team. A bike mechanic and someone to work in the front end of the shop. Looking for full or part-time help to start immediately and work through the end of the season.

Information about positions we are hiring:

Bike Mechanic

  • Experience with high end bike repairs
  • Confident with suspension repairs
  • Clean, neat, organized

Bike Mechanic positions are full-time, seasonal positions. Salary commensurate with experience. Start date each season approximately March 1. Season end date somewhat flexible, but presumably will be October/November. Winter seasonal employment is readily available in Killington for smart, hard-working people. Don’t let the fact that this is a “summer only” position deter you. We can help you make your ‘dream job” near one of the east coast’s top ski and mountain bike destinations a reality.

Retail Bike Shop Help

Retail and/or customer service experience preferred, but not necessary. Position involves helping customers, restocking shelves, light cleaning and merchandising. Great job for a stay at home parent looking to pick up a little work during the day, a high school or college student with day-time availability or someone who already has a winter job and is looking to fill in some hours in the summer. Salary DOE.
