The Endurance Society Glacier Grinder sponsored by Cortina Inn & Resort and Alpine Bike Works takes place Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 8 a.m in Killington, Vermont.
The ride will be scenic gravel roads and unmaintained town roads. There will be cue sheets for everyone and the route will feature directional arrows at each turn and distance markers to finish and top of climbs. Course will have one feed station.
Go at your own pace. There will be a follow car for support and course breakdown. The event will be timed. Final times will be posted on the The Endurance Society Website.
Registration includes water bottle, sticker, post-ride BBQ, vendors, and raffle items!
A portion of our proceeds go to Special Olympics Vermont, Green Mountain Club, and Leave no Trace.
Two course options
The SHORT COURSE is 40 miles with 4,300 Vertical. The short course will start and finish at Skyship Lodge on Route 4 in Killington.
The LONG COURSE is 46 miles with 7,300 Vertical. The long course will start at Skyship Lodge on Route 4 in Killington and will finish at Killington Peak.
There will be four climbs on the short course – Bridgewater Hill, Chateauguay, Smith Hill, and Gilke Road. One additional climb on the long course (Skyship to Killington Peak).
